How to Download Your Wedding Photos & Videos from Google Drive

1. Open the Shared Link

• Click the Google Drive link I’ve sent you.
• In the top-right corner, click “Add shortcut to Drive.”
• Choose “My Drive” or a specific folder — then confirm.

✅ This will save a shortcut to your Drive, making the folder easily accessible.

2. Install Google Drive for Desktop

• If you haven’t already, download and install Google Drive for Desktop: 👉 Download Google Drive
• Log in with the same Google account where you added the folder shortcut.

3. Access the Folder on Your Computer

• Open File Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac).
• On the left-hand side, click Google Drive.
• Navigate to “My Drive” — you’ll see the wedding folder there.

4. Copy the Folder to Your Computer

• Right-click the folder and choose “Copy”, or simply drag it to any location you prefer:
  • External hard drive
  • Local disk
  • A dedicated “Wedding Archive” folder

  📥 Google Drive will automatically start downloading all the files in the background. No need to open them one by one.
